Firstly, we want to say a big "thank you" to everyone who has signed up for membership in 2023. We're currently at 150 social members, which is a record number, and thanks to the monthly payments and online sign up, we've made it easier than ever for our playing members to sort their memberships.
Despite rising costs in 2023, we decided to keep social membership at £10, as we get back on track from some challenging years. This represents excellent value for money, thanks to the drinks offers for members. For the first time ever, members can also use their discount upstairs as well, thanks to the new till system, which is making things easier for both members and staff.
If you want to sign up, there's still time to do it through the website (click the button below) or at the bar. All memberships run to 31st March 2024 so even though we're well into the cricket season now, there's still plenty of opportunities to use it - especially with more cricket on through the week and at weekend.

Gaming Nights return to Glossop Cricket Club in conjunction with Adaptive Gaming with two events planned for 2025. The first event is on Friday 21st March 2025 6pm-8pm where we will find out who's the best EAFC25 player in Glossop. If you don't want to play EAFC or have time between tournament games, we'll have loads more on top... Tickets are £12 per person and can be purchased online here 60-120" HD screens Xbox Playstation Nintendo Retro + Arcade Games The second event is on Friday 25th April 6pm-8pm , where Adaptive Gaming will be running another amazing night of gaming with competitions and tournaments, and giving away some very cool prizes! Tickets for this event are £12 per person and can be purchased online here . Both events are open to persons aged 16 or under.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at North Road on Thursday, 13th February. All members of the club are cordially invited to attend this important event. The AGM provides an opportunity to review the past year's activities, discuss the club's financial position, and outline plans for the upcoming season. Members will also have the opportunity to elect committee members and raise any matters of concern. Your participation is highly valued, and we encourage all members to attend and contribute to the future of Glossop Cricket Club. The meeting will commence at 7:45pm. We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday, 13th February at North Road. Whilst we welcome all members to join us at the AGM, I'd like to remind you that as per the club constitution, junior members under 16 and social members do not receive a vote. While we keep an up to date list of all members, sometimes people are not contactable and so if you know of any member who hasn't received this invite, please do feel free to forward it on.
SATURDAY 1st FEB | 11am The walk is open to EVERYONE. Juniors, seniors, partners, family, friends, dogs etc. The more the merrier, all are welcome. It’s a good chance to get out in the open, catch up, keep fit etc. The walk will begin at 11am, starting from Glossop CC. Breakfast barms, teas and coffees from 10am. Upon return the bar will be open and we will put some hot food on and for those breaking Dry January - the bar will be open! Suitable walking boots, clothing and equipment recommended.
